When do nh atv trails open

No Trail Bikes permitted. Millsfield - Millsfield Pond Road, located off Route 16, 0. Trail north of Meridan Hill is CLOSED temporarily for hunting at the request of the landowner and will reopen the middle of December when grooming of snowmobile trails starts.

Trails open year round except for mud season. Also has a campground, lake, beach, and picnic area. No riding on Rte 16 north of this location. The NH Bureau of Tails assists in maintenance. Nowhere near as expansive as the northern side of the state, this area is a pleasant forest trail system more suitable for beginners, with flat and hard-packed trails that will not challenge you as much as the exciting single tracks up north.

This mostly easy trail starts just next to a NASA rocket! There are 28 miles of scenic trails through woodland, with excellent views. These trails are suitable to more experienced riders, featuring short steep climbs and quite a bit of chunky rock on the trail. You can see some interactive maps here.

A longer recreational trail running from Littleton to Woodsville, the Ammonoosuc trail is open all year on a multi-use trail. There are a few other sights, such as the foot covered bridge in Bath, dating from , and the Lisbon Depot. New Hampshire has thousands of miles of ATV trails.
